• Construction Management: Overseeing and monitoring construction processes on the job site; ensuring that construction work is performed in accordance with the contract, on schedule, and to the required quality standards
• Coordination & Interface Management: Coordinating subcontractors, specialist planners, and other project stakeholders on the job site in consultation with project management; preparing for and participating in construction meetings; and coordinating implementation solutions
• Quality and Schedule Control: Monitoring compliance with construction schedules and quality standards; ongoing monitoring of construction progress and early identification of deviations and risks; ensuring compliance with legal requirements, technical regulations, and safety provisions
• Documentation & Reporting: Creating and maintaining project-related documentation (e.g., construction log, site reports); reporting to internal and external stakeholders; ensuring complete and traceable project documentation
• Acceptance Inspections & Defect Management: Organizing and conducting partial and final acceptance inspections; managing the rectification of defects, including monitoring deadlines; participating in warranty management
• Completed vocational training in the construction trade, a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction engineering, or architecture, or several years of relevant, successful, hands-on experience
• Several years of professional experience as a construction manager in residential construction, particularly building construction, in German-speaking countries
• Good knowledge of technical regulations and building codes, as well as knowledge of construction law (VOB, DIN standards, particularly DIN 276 and DIN 277)
• An independent, structured, and solution-oriented approach to work
• A high degree of initiative and motivation, flexibility, and reliability
• Strong communication skills, a passion for teamwork, and negotiation skills
• Proficiency with MS Office and common construction software solutions is a plus
• Good German language skills are a plus
• Valid driver’s license
